I got the wind kicked out of me last night with an attack of the stomach flu….worst I’ve ever had. Today, I of course was couch bound and Chief was by my side the whole day. He slept when I slept and gave me comfort when I needed it. Ruby cuddled up on me on top of my comforter. Both of them gave into the fact that it was going to be a very lazy day.
Gary took Chief for a walk when he got home. He can’t believe how great he walks on the leash, when he’s probably never done so before. While Ruby can still be a little maniac at times, when she’s too excited. Chief is still recovering well from surgery but still has some separation anxiety at night when we put him to bed. Hopefully, tonight will be better for us all.
